The Cider & Black Treacle Ham from Crowley’s of Suffolk are prepared, cured and glazed solely by hand. A now-revived, decades-old, traditional recipe.
Each Cider & Black Treacle ham is brined for two days and traditionally-smoked overnight.
The result is a ham with a perfect colour and texture. Above all, a truly unique flavour with a subtle background of apples from the cider and gentle sweetness from the black treacle. The demerara sugar glaze produces the most wonderful crisp, contrasting dark layer on the fat.
